We offer Private and Mixed Billing Counselling services for a wide range of presentations.

We advise any potential clients to get a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) to access the $98.95 rebate available for 10 sessions.
Duration: 50 minutes

Cost: $204.95 (106 out-of-pocket with MHCP)

Learning Disorders (Reading, Writing & Mathematics)

We offer learning assessments for reading, writing, and mathematics. The official terms used in Australia are Specific Learning Disorders in Reading, Writing, & Mathematics. However, they are also generally known as Dyslexia and Dyscalculia. These assessments can be conducted individually (Only one) or in combination with one another (Two or all at once). For a diagnosis to be completed, your child must have had appropriate instruction and access to intervention directly addressing their academic difficulties. As part of our service, regardless of diagnosis, we offer a reduced rate for ongoing counselling to support those who receive an assessment through us.

Duration: 1 - 4 Sessions

Typical Cost: 1600-2400 (Cost variation dependent on the number of areas included)

Part of this assessment may be claimable, depending on the private health coverage.

Discounts may be offered if the assessment can be completed in one day.

Learning Disorders

ADHD Assessment

We offer ADHD assessments for both children over the age of 6 and adults. Please be aware that, as psychologists, we are unable to provide prescriptions or pharmacological support. While the WA government will be introducing a GP ADHD program in the near future, paediatricians or psychiatrists are currently the only professionals able to prescribe stimulant medication for ADHD.

As part of our service, regardless of diagnosis, we offer a reduced rate for ongoing counselling to support those who receive an assessment through us.

Duration: 1 - 3 Sessions

Typical Cost: 1100-1500 (Cost variation dependent on the inclusion of a cognitive assessment)

Part of this assessment may be claimable, depending on the private health coverage.

ADHD assessment

Intellectual Disability

We offer intellectual disability assessments for children and adults, as well as reassessments. This assessment is for those who believe a child or adult in their life may have an underlying intellectual disability that is impacting their ability to function in everyday life. An intellectual disability is a lifelong diagnosis. After being diagnosed with an intellectual disability, people may be eligible for NDIS support. Funding criteria for school support are slightly different and may require additional assessments to be conducted at the school. Get in contact with us if you would like to know more.

Cost: $1600

A discounted, half-day assessment may be available.

Cognitive Assessments

We offer cognitive assessments as a standalone assessment or as part of a collaborative process with other healthcare professionals. For example, if a school recommends a cognitive assessment to provide insight into a child's cognitive capacity and strengths and weaknesses, we can support that. In addition, if a paediatrician is requesting a cognitive assessment to rule out an underlying cognitive difficulty, we can support them as well. Alternatively, this assessment can also be used if a parent would like evidence of giftedness.

Cost: $1000

Pre Paediatrician Screening

We offer a screening assessment for parents about to take their children to a paediatrician appointment. Paediatric appointments can be expensive, and our assessment will help maximise the visit by presenting a wide range of behaviours and scales for them to review. The assessment gathers information from both parents and teachers to provide insight into a child's behaviour at school and home.

Cost: $700

We offer flexibility in how we provide assessment services to the community. As a result, we are unable to completely list all of the available assessments on offer. However, we are more than happy to provide customised assessment schedules for you that best suit your needs.
